We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The family room was spacious and offered great value for the price, even though it was a bit further out from York. The staff were attentive, especially a young lady who seemed to be everywhere helping out. However, the bathroom could use a scrub as it was a bit dusty, and the breakfast didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially the eggs benedict. Overall, it suited our family needs really well.
I was really disappointed with my experience at this hotel. While the family room was spacious and reasonably priced, the dining options were simply unacceptable. The service left a lot to be desired, with some staff being quite rude, and the cleanliness of my bathroom was below standard. It’s a shame because the hotel itself has a nice atmosphere and could really shine with some improvements.

While the location is lovely and the atmosphere cozy, I had a major issue with cleanliness and service during my visit, which overshadowed some positives like the quality of the food and breakfast. It seems the hotel has potential but needs improvement in key areas to truly offer a pleasant stay.
